Who am I?

...a former lawyer and judge who had a midlife career crisis in the eighties and started a pet i.d. tag business. At first, I traveled the country in an RV, setting up shop at festivals and dog shows on weekends. I later settled in one place and continued to work the local show circuit.

I started this business to provide myself with an income and more free time than my law practice. In these respects it's been successful.

I've discovered another benefit from it too--the customers who have let me know that a tag I made had saved their pets. I always feel great when I hear this.

I have a cat, Bea, and a dog, Irma. Both wear stamped, brass tags I've made for them. Each tag has my home and cell phone numbers on it.
